These are services reported by providers to identify the completion of special reports and services that are an adjunct to the basic services rendered. Charges for services not involving the provision of medical care may also be treated as administrative charges.
Policy:
No benefits are provided for administrative service charges. When such services are itemized individually, charges are denied. Charges for the medical services listed below are treated as administrative charges.
