It’s time for 2023 Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangements (ICHRA) renewals!

We have prepared a few tips on how you can better assist employers with their renewals:

• Remind employers to update their employee census so we can determine affordability. The census should include updated salary information for the coming year noted in dollar amounts versus percentages. 
• Only one completed census needs to be submitted. After it is submitted, you will receive your affordability spreadsheet when it is completed by underwriting.
• Communicate to your BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina group marketing representative when you have a renewing group, even if the group is not making any changes.
• New forms do not need to be submitted if the group is not making any changes to its ICHRA.
