As 2024 approaches, we’re preparing to launch Blue CareOnDemand^SM powered by MDLIVE^®, the enhanced telehealth platform for BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina members. Blue CareOnDemand powered by MDLIVE will be available to ACA Small Group, Blue Measure (Level-Funded) and to most ACA individual and family* members starting January 1, 2024.  

Blue CareOnDemand powered by MDLIVE offers urgent care, primary care, behavioral health and dermatology services to members based on their plan benefits. Primary care and dermatology are new telehealth services that will be offered!  

We have prepared a series of member communications to highlight the enhanced platform and create excitement for the new features. 

Members can continue to use Blue CareOnDemand for urgent care or behavioral health until the enhancements go live.

*2024 Regional (HMO) plans have access to their network’s telehealth service. Blue CareOnDemand, Powered by MDLIVE is not covered. Please contact your sales representative if you have questions or need more information.
