BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is working with FitOn Health to provide Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement members with access to fitness studios, gyms and digital fitness content at no additional cost starting Jan. 1, 2024! 

How It Works

At the beginning of each month, credits are added to a member's account. Credits are tokens members can use for gym memberships, fitness classes or other services offered by FitOn Health. BlueCross covers the cost of the credits so the members don't have to. 

Members also get unlimited access to the FitOn digital platform to take fitness classes, get meal plans and view videos from experts on different health topics.

Member Communications

Members enrolled in Silver&Fit currently will have their gym memberships automatically transferred by FitOn Health. Members will receive an email or letter from FitOn Health in mid-December with more information. 

Flex Network: Out-Of-Network Gyms and Fitness Studios

While FitOnHealth's network includes more than 12,000 popular gyms and fitness studios nationwide, members with active memberships to out-of-network gyms will still be able to access that gym or fitness studio. 

These members will be able to download and/or print a digital payment card to cover the monthly cost of the membership fees. Medicare Advantage members receive 22 credits, a $55 value. Medicare Supplement members receive 30 credits, a $75 value.
